Quite frankly, I do not give a toss what you think. On the change to the vb3 TOS, which is basically a jurisdiction change, seems my argument weeks ago was correct, in fact this is a retrospective change....

You must have missed this, you can run both versions if you purchase the full licence, extra $20 in my case....

You really don't have a clue about the legality of the vb3 licence, your above comments demonstrates this. Since I purchased vb2.1 right up until vb3XX I only paid an annual renewal fee, this allowed...

See my ammended post. You don't have a leg to stand on in the UK, for those who have upgraded as IB term it, you have signed away your right to your vb3 licence.

Nonsense, the vb4 licence is totally different to vb3. A VB3 owned licence you can run for ever if you wish, the country of jurisdiction is UK, vb4 you can only run and get updates until vb5 is released,...

Thanks, just what I needed, the licence structure if fundamentally flawed, there is no such thing as an upgrade to vb4, anyone who bought vb4 suite discounted or not now has two licences, one for vb3...

The security issue posted here has patches for 3.8.1 - 3.8.3 and 3.8.4, though nothing for 3.8.2, is 3.8.2 immune to this issue or was this an oversight.

Steve, if I was to buy a new licence, as a new customer I would then have two licences true? Then under the terms of both licences I could host both vb3 and 4 at the same time.

I don't think your post is very constructive, being rude to another member is something that our over zealous mods should be clamping down on....

Be very careful of paying by other means, at least you have protection by your credit card company if anything goes wrong.
