Edit the following template:

Facebook Templates / facebook_likebutton

Change:

Wasn't this supposed to work as default in 4.0.x? You can align images in the CMS, I thought you could too in the forums it was just a function that had to be fixed no? Or will this not be included in...

Did you clear the CMS cache to see if that just needed rebuilding?

The YouTube thing actually is by design, it's been doing that for quite a while in previous versions already... I'd prefer it did images IF they exist in the article, and if they DON'T then show the youtube...
