Setting of a widget to track recent group posts

Yes, that was all set up properly. Not sure the root cause of this but it cleared up when we did a server hardware transfer last night. I may spend some time digging into what was up at some point but...

Ok, I was trying to do it by user group but I should be able to set up a Social group for it. Thanks!

I want to add a widget to the top of our forums to track recent posts by members of specific groups. Can anybody point me in the right direction for how to get that query to work?

Has anybody had any issues with this system? I notice that it works here but when I enable it on our forums I get this error message (as did everybody else who tried for several days):
