error when updating templates

Is it possible that the host would have to change something to allow for the mod security to be correctly implemented. Nothing has changed with site in a while. This just started out of the blue......

I keep getting this error when trying to update templates:

You don't have permission to access /forums/admin/template.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error...

Ok got it; that worked. Yeah, no problem. I know Im an antique. I just really like the layouts Ive tweaked from the vb2 templates. That's really the only reason Ive stayed with it. Is it still stable...

From what version of vB is Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Execute SQL Query -> Manual Query an option? I dont see it in 2.2.9. I tried running the command through phpmyadmin and now all forums...

Thanks Steve, is the cp, that you refer to, from which one can run queries the vB cp or ... ? I dont see one in the vB cp so I assume youre talking about the phpmyadmin or something...

Wondering if metatags would accept php terms like $post as an example. Not sure if that's the right term, but the object would be to put the post title in the metatag for the page to boost search results...
