I was having issues but I figured it out now. It seems the counter update for threads keeps freezing on thread 1999 and not going to the next page. :-/ It seems it didnt want to do a second page at...Last edited by eXtremeTim; Sun 6 Aug '06, 1:22am.

I also have this same problem on my site in Firefox. I have it on a fresh vbulletin defualt style for 3.5.0 gold. So its not anything I changed in my templates.

Even if the file is not writable it will then start performing extra queries to get all the info instead of breaking. I moved my info back and cleared out my datastore file and then took the write permissions...

Seems like none of them work yet. Filecache gives me a cannont initialize non existent function. Memcached has a nice error about the function not being installed into the datastore class file yet.

They stated you could catch them to either a file or to shared memory. So that you can avoid the overhead on some datastore fields for the serialize and unserializeing of the information.

Datastore catching
I was wondering how I cache datastore fields to keep from having them serialize and unserialize since I do recall reading that in orignal announcement thread.

I was using 3.0.7 under iis with php as an asapi module and the archive was working great.

If you read the error you dont even need to setup a db. The error is that the mysql_connect function is not there.

Wine will not be running server type programs just stuff like photoshop and such. All the server type stuff will be on the linux end. Thats the whole reason for moving to linux.
