Link to subforum on main forum page?

Would someone be kind enough to explain to me how I put a link on the main forum page linking to a subforum please?

For example, on this forum under "Site Feedback" there is a link...

Since upgrading my forum to 4.2.1 I have a problem with "Mark Forums Read" The error message I'm getting is..
