Which folder did you install your vbulletin in? Or is it at the root of the site?

Censor it as said and use question and answer to register. I get maybe 2-3 spammers a month now compared to 2-3 a day during this past winter....

Different ways of doing it. It is possible but not without knowing sql or getting an addon or having access to the mysql database.
