topics not displayed

Hi, users topics is reflected when searched. it has been approved. however it is not displayed when in the particular section.

like to find out if there is any setting that can be enabled to see which user has read a particular thread/topic

User has already uploaded an avatar. however it is not showing.


under user profile - permission to display avatar is set to YES.

the issue came about only after upgrade from vb4 to vb5.

in vb4, those threads are deleted from the inbox...

then how can i delete in future? looks like it is a lost child or something. i got quite a number of such topics...
