I have Vbulletin Suite 4.0.6 and have been trying to make a hidden sub forum not seen till users click on the parent forum first, here is what I have done.
1.I create the new forum Say Boating...
61 results in 0.0139 seconds.

Deleting new users but not deleted?
When I go the the admincp and pick users and new users I then click to delete the fake users.
I then save this and it works and goes back to the admincp.
BUT then with I go... -
OK need an opinion, should I keep blocking these endless IP addresses at the server level or just start deleting the user name and not bother blocking the IP address to this fake user as he or she seems... -
User Registration
I check my new user registrations all the time and delete the prank users right away.
BUT when I check my user list I always fine fake users that have never showed up as a new user waiting... -
IP Address from UK
I posted this before but can't locate my original message, I get about 9 fake registrations per day. I can tell it is from the same person all the IPA addresses say they originate to the UK I must have... -
OK I just registered as a new user and now I see they can not change their IP address. So my question is the format is the same for this fake new user 5 times per day how can he have access to 100 different...Leave a comment:

Question I have been getting about 5 prank user registrations per day. I do go to my Host and ban the IP address and also add it onto the Vbulletin IP Banned list. I now have about 100 banned IP addresses... -

Log I Problems
When users and also myself log in you type the proper log in user info and it says thank you for logging in with your user name but then jumps back to the login screen?

Well solved most of my problems by changing domain hosts went to URLjet very happy with them so far and the Vbulletin suite 4 is working like a champ.Leave a comment:
