Yes, that was what I originally wanted and by increasing the pixel size we did fix that issue (thanks). In doing so, a gap was introduced between the top of the navbar and the bottom of the header though....

I actually did increase the 100px to 140px, which is what you see above. I'll post how it looks at 100px, 140px, and 180px below.
