I second that...I don't notice a huge 'slowness' but I am on a crappy ISP...probably is going slow and I am just used to it...I do know other sites load quicker ....

Just stick with vB3, your better off than to jump into stagnant development. Also the main feature in vB4 than vB3 doesn't have BUGS!!!! lol.

I believe it is a double md5 hash with 10 character salt. Not 100% sure but I know that I am close .

vbulletin.org is a free modification(s) site and they may have lite versions of a modification and if it is not vb.org it may cause money because they are selling it as their own product .

I am almost certain the vBulletin has subscription which would work as this . But how you are saying I am not sure... the permission system would allow them to access Section A after they purchase product...

I would recommend upgrading vb to vb 4.0.5 that will hopefully solve your issue. I am however assuming you do not want to reinstall the mod or have a db backup
