Facebook like button not giving correct link

CMS articles are working fine, just threads on forum...

When a member likes a thread on the forum the link it puts on facebook is not working correctly resulting in an invalid thread error when clicked on from facebook.

is it the same for a first post on every page? have the same issue, I guess it is something to do with the advert positions, seem to remember something similar in the past happening.

have tried changing the postbit_font and postbit_msg_font in stylevars and neither done anything

I had this problem before, was with a mod, the mood mod or something, just in case you had that installed, only affected IE users IIRC
