MySQL connection shaky after upgrade

Solved. Dumped all the databases, deleted the log files and imported the databases again.
This got rid of the old MySQL log files which where corrupt.

Í had to reinstall MySQl and read back the database for a vBulletin site.

It works fairly well but there are issues:

1. In the ACP I get the Login prompt all the time, almost...

Solved. It was an issue of the web server user not having write access to style sheets.

IMO the main issue is to let admins choose the behaviour, not have it hardcoded like now. It should be possible for non-coders to change the link behaviour via ACP

I'm guessing here, have no indepth knowledge but did you try to export / import the SQL CMS tables?

I would make SQL backups, then make a backup of all CMS tables from your modified demo...

I think one needs to be prepared to swap antispam / countermeasures now and then. Spammers try to break all methods. Sometimes they succeed .
