Removing Tags and Smilies from the post new thread page

I want to remove the ability for my posters to post smilies and the ability to choose tags. How do I do this while keeping the overall structure/look of the message box while keeping the overall look...

What would be envolved to remove the Last post, Threads and views columns from the forum index? I want to remove everything and I want the listing of sub-forums to take up the entire width of the page....

It’s because I have reached the max limit for forums....

Can you have too many forums? What's the most anyones ever seen or heard of? Our site plans to have close to 20,000 forums. Will this slow down or hinder the software?

Wow so it was quite effective for you...
How long has your site been established? We're not live yet...should we wait until we're live to implement it or just set it loose early so we're ready ...
