In my opinion, it would be damn stupid to focus on something other than getting the core product right. If they did develop CMS simultaneously, then the state of the core product is truly representative...

It was a quality product from release. No legacy code to build from, and for sure no stolen code.

I'm very glad that I learned form my VB4 pre-sale experience.

I'm also glad that i purchased XF the day it went on sale. Never regretted that move.

It only took two years+ from release to get it to that point, including the crippled CMS, and the list of features that mysteriously became moot....
