It's 5k, I really don't think modem users will be bothered much by it. And as for setting it as background: if you already use a background image, the only option is to put your entire layout into a 100%...

I fail to see the use for a static image though. A gradient (and most other patterns) are much better to be done in a background/repeated fashion. Saves bandwidth too.

If I had a dutch site I still wouldn't use dutch colors, since they're just too damn ugly. I'm sure there are better ways to express that the site is polish.Last edited by Menno; Tue 8 Oct '02, 1:34am.

I still don't like the font combination too much, and the red in the logo is, imo, ugliest red there is (standart browser link red... I've grown alergic to it). Try a darker shade.
