thank you. this worked. Previously i had installed (3.5 vb) RSS inferno RSS feeds 1.5 and was trying to use this instead.
The new built in rss feeds with the vb 3.6 is easier...

Reinstalled the vb3.5.0 files and imported the posts from my previous simpleboard with 5000 posts per session. No problems all works now
