Fixed it with DB queries. Apparently a newly created group messed up permissions due to imported phpBB groups. Thanks guys!

test user should be able to upload an avatar. Limits are 100x100px and 50,000 bytes.

So, I would want to go to import/expot on the admincp, then what? Just redo a user import selecting the option to merge on email? Or do I need to do something with the database cleanup and restart...
