Yes and No. Outside of the duplicate user database issue (and that isn't even part of my question) could this in theory work as I explained... if the vb_threads posts databases where dumped and imported...

Language Problem with PHP Upgrade
Running VB 303 with 4.3.8 all is fine in the world. I upgrade to 4.3.10 and VB breaks with errors and I get this wonderful email from ALL VB sites on the server.
