I am currently developing an elimination bracket mod. I am a noob when it comes to to php and I need some help with a portion of the code.
So here is the scenario:

I have had connection problems since day one. Since you have to pay 9.95 a month for mysql this is a big issue for me plus the fact of getting 200-400 emails a day about connection errors is a bit ridiculous!...

Run away from hostway! I am in the process of switching away from them. I am tired of all the connection errors. Look at Ventures online.

3. how much memory and ram does the server have ? 1Omeg max 1GIG RAM

I have several people on my board that I do not want to have admin status anymore....How do I change that with out deleting them?

I can tell you only the import thread/post portion of the script needs to be tweaked. Things it did correctly...

I ran thru the importing script and the script imported all the cat's, forums and members but did not import the threads or posts. do I need a special script for 6.1? Can anyone help?

I am in the midst of making the move from vBulletin from UBB. I ran install.php and got the following:
