Annoying database problem - please help!

forums showing astupi d large number of guests on the board, this muts be related to the problem (360+ guests!!!) forum nevr broke 30 in its history!

I have had www.star-forums.com running sweet for nearly 6 months and now all this by email every few seconds!

Ok...i turned $pconnect off (to 0) and i'll see what happens.

We only have 10-15 visitors average online at any time.

I keep getting emails (approx 20 per day) as follows:

Database error in vBulletin: Link-ID == false, connect failed
mysql error:
mysql error number:
Date: Wednesday...

Great....sorted it using:

Admin Options -> View posts queue


Didn't see that option in this case....

Thanks for the quick reply (unlike easyspace who have not replied to 3 emails over 3 days)....I have tried "localhost" as server host name but with no sucess just the following message:

I have the forum running on a spaceports account at present and that was my first ever experince...
