Moving vBulletin forum to a new server

My host is offering me to move my forum to new a supposedly faster server.
What would be the correct procedure to do it as painfully as possible?

I just fixed it by emptying the tables and it unlocked it.

After updating counters I started to get this error:

I would like to create a new user profile field and let user enter some future date and have some function behind this field to calculate a time left.

Has anyone done this?
