Hi, I just use the Style Variable Editor and the same thing comes up whether I try and change the background colour or add a /images/image.jpg. Or do you mean something else?

Nevermind, I seem to have found the offending plugin - advanced bb code permissions and uninstalled it and turned plugins back on - seems to be working now. Thanks
