Is anyone able to duplicate this? I'm kind of waiting on fixing this bug before I do an update from a 3.0.3 board to a 3.5.1 board.
I'd rather do an upgrade, but I'm trying to start clean,...

Another quote related bug: Forum titles seemed to get imported with the slashes still in the entry in the database. See attached image. I had to go in manually and remove it....

It's kind of annoying though. Could it be from having some forums with display order 0 (hidden)?

What I meant to say is that the error in Attachments happened at this code section...
PHP Code:$Db_object->query("
INSERT INTO " . $tableprefix . "attachment

Same error number and cause, I didn't copy it, just fixed it and let it run.

Like I said, I was first at the User Import stage and then at the Attachment Import stage, importing from VB 3.0.3.

It happened during user import and again during attachment import.
The problem was caused by SQL errors from having single quotes (') in the filename or a field in the user table.

Forum order/children problem
I'm importing from 3.0.3 to 3.5.1 (vb) and it seems to work (after I fix the single quote problem), but I'm having my forums import in all the wrong order, with all the wrong parent/child relationships....

I'm seeing this problem as well. All polls fail without an error message importing from 3.0.x to a 3.5.1 forum.
Has anyone figured out how to get this working?

We had a bunch of .biz registrations this morning from a spammer. I just banned that domain from registering, which seems to have abated it for a bit.
What is with the amount of board spammers...

mysqlhotcopy is a better option than mysqldump. less chance of corruption, plus it locks the tables.
I have a 4.1 gb database, and mysqlhotcopy takes about 4 minutes to run.

I can see why people would do it, since sometimes you don't want to be tied to one companies notion of a "good" web development platform. Sometimes you just want content stored and accessed...

For perspective, I pay 1800 a month for a two bedroom condo I live in with my wife up in Santa Barbara, CA. Considering our place is HUGE (1300 sq feet), and nice with vaulted ceilings, its a good deal....

I hate to ask....about CMS'
Yes, CMS questions are very popular, but I do have a serious question.
We want a CMS that does not provide the front end for the website. Just one that maintains content in a database,...
