Probably using IE6 and it's blocking cookies. I'm having this same problem with 100's of users on my board (v 2.0.3). I've even tried installing a w3c Privacy Policy with the same results.

This happens on my board all the time. I get at least 100 complaints a week.

Here's the fix I found. Seemd to be more of an IE6 problem.

It seems to be IE6 related in the way IE6 handles cookies. Here's what I send everyone and it works 99.9% of the time.

My users used special Chars in their Nicks. All imported just fine.

Sounds like you uploaded with the directory structure in the Zip File.

The Files that are in the /www/htdocs/forum/vbulletin/upload directory should be in the vbulletin root

On the bottom right, hit the Logout button then login as the different user. I do that all the time.
