Attachment Errors

I had a server crash running vb 3.8.3. I have restored the data and posts are showing up as they are supposed to; I am having problems with attachments.

Trying to import Users... NO assocoation was done as this is a clean install; but can't get past this....

ImpEx from dead server data VB3.8.3 to new install VB3.8.4PL1.....

Goto CP and "User Ban Options" add the following IP addresse blocks:

The following basically restricts the access to only ARIN administrated IP addresses only. NO RIPE or APNIC......

SM> Only upload the 3.8.3 files, restore the 3.0.7 database and upgrade normally.

That is precisly what I did...

and the files in the old system were stored in the database,...

1. Existing Server w/ VB 3.0.7, MySQL 4.0.15, PHP 4.4 working fine, no issues

2. Customer has upgraded to new server and new VB 3.8.3, PHP 5.2.8, MySQL 5.1.34-community

All attachments are broken. They are all present in the attachment directory and are refferencable by manual user ID path and attachment ID. But they don't show in the post. They all show broken image....

I upgraded to on new server from 3.0.7 to 3.8.3 with latest updates. I have had nothing but trouble with image attachments. They were stored in the database; no success; I wrote them all out of the...
