I'm currently on PHP 5.6.25 and MySQL 5.1.73. Is it safe to upgrade from vB 3.8.10? Any known gotchas?

Thanks, Paul. Have there been any changes to the PHP and/or MySQL version requirements?...

Reporting a security flaw in 3.8.10 Beta 1
How do I go about reporting what I think may be a security hole? I don't want to post details here, just in case it really is a security breach....
-
How would one "do the upgrade in two steps" without first installing vB4?...

Need help with vBulletin external.php integration
I've been using the external feed with type Javascript for years to embed a feed onto the front page of my site. However, things have recently changed. For security, Apache is set to include the following...

OK, just so we're on the same page: you're saying that if I just take those two files from the Beta 2 distro and upload them on top of Beta 1, that will fix the security issue? Just curious - how do you...

Who is your comment directed at? If its directed at me, then the answer is "yes", because up until the time you posted that, I would have no way of knowing those are the only changes from Beta...

Perhaps someone would be so kind as to at least let me know what type of attachments are involved in the security breach. If I can't upgrade vBulletin, at least I should be able to mitigate the risk by...

This is amazingly obnoxious! Right here, I asked about it, and was told 5.4 was needed for 3.8.10. So I went through the pain of rebuilding my server to support it. And now you're pulling the rug out...Last edited by Gary Fischman; Fri 5 Aug '16, 7:02am.

Really? You're forcing a PHP upgrade from 5.4 to 5.5 between Beta versions? And that includes a Security upgrade that generally needs to be fixed quickly?!?
Seriously - this needs to work...

Are you effin' kidding me? I just finished a major upgrade to get PHP 5.4 working so I could install Beta 1. Beta 1 works fine under 5.4. Why can't the 1 or 2 lines that are causing this bug under 5.4...

OK, so a few weeks ago, I installed 3.8.10 Beta 1, and now I see there's a Beta 2 due to a security issue where you created patches for older versions. Can we get a patch for 3.8.10 Beta 2 from Beta 1?...

Is it possible to get a patch release of this? I'm terrified of having to upload everything and wipe out all the hacks that have accumulated over the years.

3.8.10
I see 3.8.10 beta in the member area, but I can't find any release notes for it.
Are there release notes available?
Will there be a GA release of this at some point?
Will 3.8.10 work...
