I'm having the problem that posts made from my board often have no text in the message when viewed on the newsgroup server - except the usenet signature and the tagline from the software.

First things first: any idea when a version will be available for vB 2.0.3? I'm curious mostly because of the security fix, otherwise I'd be happy to leave it be.
Any chance you'd work...

Bug in the subject line:
If there is a "$" in the subject of a new thread (as in "Pentium III 733, $750!", the newnews script will fail.

I think PTLink IRCd is probably the best/easiest out there. IMHO

What I really hate about NSI is that if you offer web hosting, you had better not use NSI or they'll send your customer 1,000,000 "host your site with NSI" advertisements. And it's all over...

I'll wait for the PC version. Athlon 1200 + DDR + GeForce3 = orgasms

phpads is a buggy, sucking piece of software.
They keep adding more features, and the bugs get worse and worse. The latest version (phpadsnew, which is a branch) works but I have to edit...

Incidentally, .Net is absolutely not new.
Java has done what .Net has planned for about five years now. And it does it better, right now, not in two years. Welcome to Microsoft spin.

My first copy of tforum is dated 1998. If it's a copy, then it's a pretty old one.

Oh. My. God.
That thing *SCREAMS* consumer marketing!!!
There's MSN and Hotmail all over the thing! It's... blatant!!
If this doesn't get Microsoft hit...Last edited by Shaman; Mon 19 Feb '01, 8:42am.

I'd go for an Athlon 1100. They're the very best value on the market right now, IMHO.

I have NT4 and W2K servers and workstations fall over all the time, using M$ certified hardware. I have one that falls over fairly regularly doing just print and file.
I'll disagree with...

I'm building my own. Dual Athlon 1100s with 1GB of memory and whatever drives. With that kind of memory, there should be no problem with the disk cache getting anything but hits.
