False alarm. I reuploaded the functions file and all worked out. Upgrade done.

I just attempted to upgrade from 3.0.8 to 3.5 and after uploading all the files I tried to run the upgrade.php but got this message:

This is the first time I ever had to ban someone but I'm not having any luck so far.

In the control panel, I go to ban user, I put in the users name. The next part, "move user to...

I just tried reuploading that file but I still get the same message.

That fixed some of it. The send e-mail to users no longer shows that message but the find updated templates still does.

Reuploading that file as you suggested fixed some other problems...
