Random pages returning garbled HTML

This error has been popping up intermittently on my site over the last few weeks.

The site is running on a two server setup - 1 web server, 1 db server. Memcache is running on the DB server....

Problem solved. The new version of PHP was compiled without XML support which prevented the navbar links from being created.

Turns out PHP was upgraded to 4.4.2 on the server a few hours ago. Could this be the cause of the problem? If so would anybody now what setting in PHP could be causing this.

Problem solved - a mod had put that IP address in the Tachy Goes to Coventry field instead of the Banned IP addresses textarea

I turned off Quick Stats and the main content frame does load quicker - not instant but better. Server load is still displayed which is the main thing I look for on that page so I'm happy enough.
