Also, v4 eliminated the internal search function, so everything is off the database now. I had to contact my site host to change the parameters of my server to allow a minimum three...

I don't think this applies to Version 4...there is no control to switch from database to VBulletin under Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Search Type

You have to rebuild your search tables.

Right, but I only want standard users to be able to do that in certain Forums - and not all of them.

An example would be for them to change FS to SOLD once their personal item has been sold...

Just updated to .4, and I noticed an issue in the Advanced Search configuration. In the Advanced Search page, there's a field with the listing of forums the user can choose to include in their searches....

That's a signature with HTML code and the exposed code is what we want to eliminate.
