How to make attachments thumbnails ?

Is there a way to attach images in some kind of ordered fashion ? ie: can you control the placement of attached images if you use the internal vB attachment...

i was having hotspot incompatibilities with mac OSX browsers (safari & IE) ...and I was alos having weird image issues with mozilla based browsers...but I stopped all hotspots and went normal tables/html...
