I don't believe that vBulletin 4.2 is compatible with PHP 5.4, I am informed and believe that we've been waiting for a compatibility update for the past 6 months at least....

Are you running PHP 5.4? A quick way to ignore the issue is to turn off error reporting -> display_errors to false in php.ini.
I am surprised though that the developers aren't developing...

I'm looking through the code right now, all vB is doing is storing things in different caches, or in your case, all in the same datastore.
Generally, everyone should know that using a datastore...

vBulletin 5 is vBulletin 4, refactored - it looks like a lot of features are missing and will most likely make their way back in soon. I've looked and there is paid subscriptions. Maybe Joe can clarify...
