I have a group of people (Bethel Graduates) that only have access to a specific forum. The rest of my users (Registered Users) don't. If someone from the Bethel Graduates posts in the private forum...

I tried that, but they are still able to edit it. Is there any way I can just take out the Edit button itself?...

I don't want my users to be able to edit their comments (sometimes we have bickering and this is to discourage that), how can I take out the edit button?

I believe that the default is 30 days for threads to stay visible. Is there a way to change the default to a different number?

I left the date off and still the announcement doesn't show up. Any ideas? Is there a setting to allow announcements to be turned on?

Yeah, i have it set just like that, still doesn't show up. The time for the message is 00:00:00. Is that the problem? I even tried to back up the start date to yesterday...didn't work...

I'd like to make a global announcement that will show up on all forums. It's just a message about the board. When I create this in my Admin CP, it doesn't show up when I click on any of the forums....
