Migrating from SMF to VB 4.0 PS...

I'm going to be migrating from SMF to vB 4.0 Publishing Suite. I've already purchased, but am wondering if I'd be better off installing 3.8.x first to do the import then upgrade to 4.0 PS when it goes...

Well, as it turns out, it finally finished. There needs to be some kind of indication as to what it's doing and that it could very well take MANY minutes to finish. The server is a dual-core P4 3.0GHz...

I'm upgrading from 3.5.2 to 3.6.4. It did the first updates properly, but then hung at Step 1 of the 3.6 portion.

The screen says:

Greetings! I just upgraded to 3.0.3 from 2.3.6. In the old incarnation of the boards, when you clicked the "View New Posts", it would show you of course what'd been posted since your last visit....

Hey guys, I've been wanting to build some other parts of my site to use the user/authentication portion of vBulletin. This way I only have one login/password instead of 3 or 4.
