I was just having the same prob. it is the white spaces . this is what I did and it now works . at the bottom del all spaces the move ?> so it is dirrectly under the last line. put install.php back...

the notepad was empty . what do I name the folder that I put admin and all the other folders into ? it is claiming it can't find config.php and it there the path i have now is vbulletin/admin/install...
