We could use a new Classifieds section to replace our aging Photopost, and this looks interesting. Apparently it's been around a while under a different name. Some info on vb.org: http://www.vbulleti...

It's not Chrome itself as I use Chrome and I haven't been logged out for ages. I always tell members to look to antivirus/antimalware app settings that are deleting cookies.

We always call for staff volunteers to notify the reporter(s) that we have or have not taken action. Communicating with members is part of the job.

Deleting the bouncees may not be what you actually want anyway. You might just end up with a forum with only a few hundred members!
There are mods available that will delete inactive members,...

I don't work for vb so I am free to say: Shame on YOU for blaming others for your own problems. We're all willing to help if you help yourself, but whining about it doesn't help find a solution....

That may be manageable with only 1000 attachments, but as the forum grows and you have to backup gigs of the damn things you may change your mind. True, the links can disappear, but that rarely happens...

I have admin set to logout automatically but I have never actually been logged out. I'll say the same thing I tell my users that complain of frequent logouts: You must have something on your computer...

I've never seen a mod like that. The reason is probably because generally it's really bad form to delete other people's mail. Better to just limit them to less PMs and let the active ones learn to manage...

I tried that mod for a while but eventually uninstalled it. Like you say, it was nice to have the sidebar everywhere. Or so I thought until I tried using my laptop on a wireless connection. Slows things...

Until we get a 'new posts' in the mobile style it's kind of useless anyway.

For the benefit of future searchers, you really should try your best to describe the problem and the solution....
