Uncountable faults with importing from YABB Gold 1.3.1

I found several faults and am not vey happy with them. I haven't searched through the whole forum, so here are just a few examples....

Everywhere in YABB where in a message a double quote...

Well, I don't really understand this , because there is a thread in which I posted about the same problem. That thread was from 2007.
Does this mean nothing changed since then ?

Install : clean
Target : VBulletin 3.67PL
Source : Yabb Gold 1.3.1
Impex : latest version

Removed the default database first from the new installation of 3.67PL.

I have the same problem and wonder what's the solution as this thread is from 2007 and now we're in 2008.......

Whenever I try to download version 3.7 and whatever link I use, I always end with version 3.67PL........

Anyone a solution ? Or does it have something to do with my licence ?
