Just migrated my phpbb forum to vb 2.2.9. Because it was small, I got rid of all pm's (which were only a few from admins) to make it all easier and to ensure pm's didn't end up with the wrong user....

I imported a phpbb board with the official importer and it didn't seriously hurt data but it created ALOT of work for me, moreso than any other import from any bord to any other board....I've done about...

There was a HOWTO somewhere that demonstrated upgrading vb to preserve the hacks. It had to do with content comparison of each file. I can't seem to find that thread. Anyone klnow where to find it?...
