Is it true that most webhosts will kick you off if you have a vbulletin forum which is on a shared server that has around 50 or more members online at the same time?
I'm a bit of a newbie...

We're going to have an achive section with links that will re-direct to the old proboards forum.
I have the same size forum as you....the best thing to do in order to convince your members...

Yeah....and if that ever happens I guess I could just manually add the proboards post count again onto each member's vB account....would take some time but it's not impossible to do....

My forum is currently on proboards and even though we're not able to convert our forum over, we're still going ahead with vBulletin because it offers us so much more features and it's...

Question about post counts
With vBulletin is it possible to alter/spoof member post counts, so it reflects their post count from an old forum, a forum that unfortunently cannot be imported?

Thanks Colin for breaking the bad news. Such a shame. We really would love vBulletin, it's so much better....I'll have to see if everyone is willing to sacrafice our old forum and start fresh.
