The same guy from Cyprus registered using IP 61.232.205.14. He registered as [email protected] using the name of bobbie801. Same registering characteristics; I'm sure it's him or his 'bot....

Watch out for this *******. I suggest banning 200.73.714.183 for now. He has hit my MB 5 times in the last few weeks, with identical profiles as described here and elsewhere.
I am at a loss...

It is not practical to do this at this time, as I don't have easy access to the server nor the knowledge of how.
However, no hacks have been applied to the PHP code. Minor configs and tweaks...

Can't view "all subscriptions" in CP
I don't know if this is a new problem on my board, or I just never noticed it before, but "View all subscribed threads" returns nothing for all users I have tested for, admins or otherwise....

Thanks for the quick reply, Zachery. To sum up, if I allow JPG, JPEG, and GIF as valid extensions in Admin, would that cover a Mac user who has images stored using the Picassa application?

Image attachments with a Mac
I don't have a Mac at my disposal, so I can't easily test this question. But I do have a novice Mac user who appears to have a problem.
I have JPG, JPEG, and GIF set in Admin as valid...

With "add standard headers" option ON, test posts to a test thread took 138..150 seconds.
With the same option OFF, they took 27..28 seconds.
Big difference! I...

Slow PHP/msg post
My board seems to have been slow at thread/message posting ever since it was installed 7 months ago, but I didn't have much to compare it to. But now a more sophisticated user claims my board is slow...

Thanks, smachol, for your lightning-quick response!
At least I feel better knowing I didn't overlook an obvious VB option.

User threads subscribed
As an Admin, I need to find out if a particular user is subscribed to a thread and will receive email notices of new posts. (VB 2.2.1)
A list of users subscribed to a particular thread...

The problem surfaced again today. I tried two posts; the first timed out. The second timed out also, but one of them actually took and the post appeared!
There is no load on the server...

Anyone care to reply to this?
The problem seems to have gone away for now, but I would like to know what to do if it reoccurs.

PHP Timeout errors
I am getting random timeout errors when posting or starting a thread in an active VB board. The message might look like this:
Code:Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds

Here's a hint about what might have caused the problem (altho it sure looks like a bug to me).
As Admin, after some initial testing of the board setup, I removed, using the proper vB tools,...
