vB2 or vB3??

Actually not a pre-sales question, as I just paid my 160 dollars for an owned license. But before I download and start the hair-pulling process (I'm sure there's a learning curve), I'd like some opinions on vB2 vs. vB3. Should I go for the presumably better (but unstable?) vB3 or "play it safe" with vB2?

If your starting today i see no reason to start with 2 only to upgrade (within a month or two) when Gold comes out.

vB3 offers much more out of the box. Most of the most hacked in features from vB2 are now default in vB3

I've been running vBulletin 3 since beta 4 live, and had no show stoping issues (nothing even close) Alot of larger sites are also running vBulletin 3 live with no problems.
