Importing

Not sure if this is the correct area, but before I purchase Vbulletin I need to know if I can bring the info on my current forums over w/o any issues. I would hat to lose my posts and member info.

Currently running SMF which is now a spin off of Yabbse.

Can this be done and are the steps easy enough to get there w/o me screwing it up.

i know there is no offical installer for SMF (not last time i checked) you can request one at vbulletin.org

Not for SMF, though it depend on how close it is to yaBB SE as i've just updated that importer as to how easy it would be or if the yaBB SE importer would work.

With the import system for vB3, it should be a lot eaiser to write one.

As soon as I can safely move all my data over I will purchase as I dont want to lose any members or the posts/boards. As i'm sure you have heard dozens of times.

you wrote, that you updated the Yabb importer? You never got back with me on that!
Oh, and dont worry smf is yabbse. The latest update there was from 1.5.4 to 1.5.5 with no db changes.

Please send me the new importer!
