  • Buying another license

I have one owned license and want to buy another one. After a year I must pay a small charge to retain access to the members section. How does this relate to multiple licenses?

Can I pay one membership fee after the year and apply the things I have downloaded to both of the vB's I own?

    Hi

If you already own a license, then you can purchase a second license, no problem at all. This second license will cost you $ 148, instead of the normal $ 160. Ain't that nice.

    Now,

The member area access will be available for you, forever, since you have a owned license.

The download area is available, per license.
If one license expires, then you have to renew access to this license, in order to get access to that download area again.

If you buy another license, then this new license will have 12 months access to the download area.

Each web site is allowed to run one instance of vBulletin.
Each site has to be using the correct files for that license.
Some files from vBulletin have their license number imbedded into them, if you use the wrong files from the wrong license, then you do something bad.

If a license for site A has expired, but you still have access to the license for site B, then you must renew access to the license for site A - you can not use the license from site B.

    I hope it is clear.

If I just type NO then I will get an error saying that I at least need to type x characters.

If I just type NO, then I will get an error saying that I at least need to have y seconds between each post.

But yeah, my reply was a bit long

Sorry to dredge up an older thread, but I hadn't realized that there was a discount on multiple licenses until today (I paid the full $160 last April, when I already owned another full license - bummer).

I'm about to buy a third owned license - how much would that one cost?

From your member's area, under the License Options heading:
Click the link that says: "click here to visit your order form."
You will have special pricing based on how many licenses you already have.

IIRC, that only applies if you buy all the liscenses at once... not one at a time.

I have tried exactly what you have said, the total on checkout says $160. This would be a second owned license that I would be buying. It don't give a discounted price of $148.

The discounts begin with the third license purchased.
