  • Multiple Databases

Must each database be named vbulletin? If I were to name it something like vb.username in the php.conf would anything break? We are a web hosting company using a central MySQL database for our virtual host clients. More than one of our clients wants to use your product.

You can give the db any name you like when you create it.
If you install multiple forums on one server, give them different names.

I think vBulletin 3 will have the ability to add table prefixes so that you can use multiple installations on one database (of course, you still need a license for each one)
