  • Adding old message new new board

I've been using Yahoo Groups, and want to move to Vbulletin. Can I copy the old messages from Yahoo into vBulletin?

I understand there is probably no script, but since there are only a small number of messages, can add the messages manually... but will I be able to change the Username and message date, and keep the threading of the original?

To do this you would need to manually login as each user then copy the messages in a new post. You'd then need to fo into the database and manually change the dates for these posts.

Sound time-consuming. I'll have to suggest that administrators are able to edit the message Username and Date/time, making it possible to import messages from any system, albeit manually.
