Can i convert a Invision Power Board to vBulletin?

  • #2
At this time there is no official IB import script. I have heard of people using InvisionBoard -> phpBB -> vB.

When vB 3.0 is released (hopefully within three months) we plan to have an IB import script available.

He means that you import InvisionBoard to phpBB (you can find that script at http://www.phpbb.com), and then use the phpBB to vBulletin convertor (which can be found in the Member's Area once you have purchased a license).

The IBF > PHPbb converter doesnt work on the new 1.1 version

vB is much better then vB, it would be a good choise to switch

Is there an importer for InvisionBoard as of yet since VB3 is out now. I have not seen one.

I want to covert iB 1.2 to the latest stable vB version.

Is there a script for this? Or am I out of luck?

first upgrade your board to 1.3 and then you can use the ipb 1.3 -> 3.0.3 convertor. so answer: yes
