I have not currently bought vBulletin, but the more features I see, the more convinces I am that vB is the best. I have used every forum out there, and I just want to clear a few things up:

1. If I read the license correctly, if I wanted to run vB on 2 different sites, I would need to purchase 2 different licenses, correct?

2. Are there any phpbb to vB convertors for posts, members, etc?

3. May I remove the copyright? If so, how much will it cost?

2. Yes, the import script is available in the Members Atea.

Yes, you can after you purchase a branding-free license.. We prefer to let sales handle this issue one-to-one though.
