What kind of company is this?

I'm going through the process of purchasing my bulletin board....

I keep coming across butchered spelling mistakes on the order form. I'm sure that the form has been there long enough for the mistakes to have been fixed by now.

It looks extremely unprofessional when words like our and your possess 2 entirely different meanings.

In and Is are the same words apprently also.. The gibberish goes on and on.

All I know is that I'm going to get flak for your mistakes because I have to get my parents to purchase for me.

They aren't blind either.. and the first thing they will ask me is "I hope our money is safe on that website.. If they can't bother to spell properly how do they have the capacity to manage our money?"

If it was just 1.. maybe 2 typos here and there. Ok, Fine.

But upwards of 10 and more sticks out like a sore thumb. And it doesn't send a very professional message.

Despite the typing errors which are probably created by the web master, the order forms while actually purchasing vbulletin is a third party - this to ensure the credit card transaction is secure and handled professionally.

So far I have been enjoying the sales department from jelsoft to awnser all my questions about vbulletin and how things should go etc, very good and with quick responses. I have no issues with them whatsoever and I have seen them correct spelling errors in their actual product (vBulletin forum) with each upgrade that the customers or their staff has found.

There are typos but VBulletin works well, the support is good. I'd say it was the kind of company you can rely on.

Which sections of the order form contain these mistakes? A big part of the order system is handled by a third party so we can't directly alter those (though we can inform WorldPay, the processor). However if the mistakes are on sections controlled by us then we can get them fixed very quickly.

Correcting spelling errors? You spelled 'something' wrong.

Oh, and Novadream: you spelled 'apparently' wrong.

            How hypocritical.

BTW, where are these spelling errors? (on the order form)

lol, you are right, but if I was making a website, I would have used spellcheck before I upload it :P

I signed up with a host once (not HR) that had zero misspellings in any of their documents.

I then got about 80% uptime and weeklong waits for support responses.

I think I'd rather have a good product with bad spelling than a bad product with good spelling.

                  ...but that's just me
