Are polls and voting limited to registered members only?

And, can they be placed elsewhere in a website, not onlly above a thread?

    Any help, thanks in advance.

    1. The permission system can make it whatever you want
    2. With hacking (http://www.vbulletin.org/), yes.

      Thanks Filbert,

So with permissions settings, I would be able to allow non registered visitors to vote also.

And have this poll on the front page of my website?

I presume that it could also only allow one vote per IP address if needed!

I think it's one vote per cookie, not sure though.

You can create them and not have them visible, but you can't have them appear and disappear on a schedule without hacking.

Not currently, although once you are licensed, you can make a request for a hack at vBulletin.org, I am sure someone would be able to whip something up .

Upgrading is easy, although if you hack your board and wish to upgrade, you will need to re-install the hacks once the upgrade is complete.

BTW upgrading does not overwrite templates you've modified.
